Rome is a small town, also known as a borough, located in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It's part of a region called Northeastern Pennsylvania. In 2020, about 385 people lived there.

Discovering Rome's Past
Rome has an interesting history. A special building called the Phillip Paul Bliss House was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. This means it's an important historical place worth protecting.
Rome's Location and Geography
Rome is found in the northeastern part of Bradford County. It sits in a valley near Wysox Creek, which flows into the Susquehanna River. Even though it's surrounded by Rome Township, Rome Borough is its own separate area.
Pennsylvania Route 187 is a main road that goes through the borough. This road leads southwest about 9 miles (14 km) to Towanda, which is the county seat. It also goes north about 12 miles (19 km) to the border of New York. The borough covers a total area of about 0.53 square miles (1.4 km2). A small part of this area, about 0.01 square miles (0.02 km2), is water.
