Round Valley is a small community in Inyo County, California, United States. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area identified by the U.S. Census Bureau for statistical purposes.

Round Valley is located about 7.5 miles (12.1 km) northeast of Mount Tom. It sits at an elevation of about 4,692 feet (1,430 meters) above sea level. In 2010, 435 people lived here, which was more than the 278 people recorded in 2000.
