Rovilson Fernandez (born September 26, 1973) is an American model, TV host, and magazine editor. He is well-known for his exciting TV shows and for competing in The Amazing Race Asia.

Who is Rovilson Fernandez?
Early Life and Background
Rovilson Fernandez was born on September 26, 1973. His birthplace was a US Naval base in Sasebo, Japan. His parents are both from the Philippines, specifically from Dagupan.
When Rovilson was very young, his family moved to San Jose, California in the United States. His father worked as an electrical engineer in the US Navy. Rovilson is the oldest of four children in his family.
Starting a Career in Media
Rovilson went to film school. He really loved movies from Asia. In 1999, he decided to move to Manila, Philippines. He hoped to find work as a director.
However, he found a different path. He became a host for a travel show called Lakbay TV. This was the start of his career in television.
Hosting Popular TV Shows
Rovilson Fernandez became a very popular TV host. He often worked with his friend, Marc Nelson. Together, they hosted several shows.
Some of their famous shows include The Duke on AXN Asia. They also hosted Dare Duo on QTV 11. More recently, they hosted Asia's Got Talent, also on AXN Asia.

Rovilson and Marc's Journey
Rovilson Fernandez and his "best buddy" Marc Nelson became very famous for joining The Amazing Race Asia 2. This was a reality show on AXN. In the race, teams travel around the world and complete challenges.
Rovilson and Marc set an amazing record. They finished in 1st place for many legs in a row. They won legs 2 through 8, and then leg 11. This showed how strong and smart they were as a team.
The Final Challenge
The race ended in Singapore. Rovilson and Marc finished in 3rd place overall. In the very last task, Rovilson had a challenge called a "roadblock." This meant only one team member could do it.
The task was to arrange flags from all the countries they had visited. Even though they were the first team to start this task, Rovilson found it difficult. This challenge decided the final outcome of the race.
Other Projects and Advocacy
Hosting "Ang Pinaka"
Rovilson Fernandez also hosts a show called Ang Pinaka. This show is on GMA News TV. It used to be on QTV and then Q. Ang Pinaka is an infotainment show. It counts down the "Top 10" of different topics. Rovilson hosts it with Maey and Betong. You can watch it every Sunday night.
Working for Important Causes
Since October 2010, Rovilson has been a National Ambassador for WWF. WWF stands for the World Wide Fund for Nature. This group works to protect animals and the environment.
He also helps other important causes. He is a National Peace Ambassador for OPAPP. This office works for peace in the Philippines. Rovilson is also a Tourism Ambassador for Singapore. This means he helps promote Singapore as a place to visit.
