Flavors and Textures
Rowntree's Randoms come in six natural fruit flavors. These include blackcurrant, cherry, strawberry, orange, lime, and lemon.
They also have four different textures to enjoy:
- regular jelly
- foam-backed jelly
- foamy sweet
- liquid-filled foam-backed jelly
Unique Shapes and Combinations
The sweets look like everyday objects. You might find shapes like ice cream cones or snowflakes. There are also pigs, roller-blades, and even saxophones! Other shapes include sports cars, musical notes, and paint brushes. You could also get bicycles, bow ties, or ping pong paddles. Flowers, puzzle pieces, buses, and palm trees are also possible.
This is why they are called "Randoms." No two bags are exactly the same! The makers often say there are "billions of combinations" in every bag.
New Randoms to Try
Over the years, new types of Randoms have been released. In 2013, a new kind called "Squidgey Speak" came out. Another type, "Sweet 'n' Sour," followed in 2014. Also in 2014, Randoms started being made and sold in the US. There, they are sold under the Wonka brand.
