Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a fun video game based on the famous TV special. Red Wagon Games released it on November 9, 2010. You can play it on both Wii and Nintendo DS systems. Different companies made the game for each system. High Voltage Software developed the Wii version. The DS version was made by Glyphic Entertainment. In this game, you get to play four different mini-games. Each game uses special motion controls. There's a time limit for each mini-game. When the time runs out, the game ends. Up to two players can play together. Some game reviewers, like IGN, did not give the game very high scores.
How to Play the Game
In Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, players enjoy four different mini-games. Each mini-game has its own unique way to play using motion controls. Every mini-game has a time limit. When the time is up, that mini-game finishes. You can play with a friend, as up to two players can join in.
In the first three mini-games, you can pick from up to five different characters. For the last mini-game, you can choose an elf to play as. After you finish a mini-game, you can pick a different character for the next one. Once you complete all four mini-games, the game's story is over. But don't worry, you can go back and replay any of the mini-games whenever you want!
The Mini-Games
Let's look at the four exciting mini-games you can play:
- Holiday Helper: This is the first mini-game. Your job is to bounce presents under the Christmas tree. You also need to get lights and stockings onto the tree. Don't forget to put dolls and toys into Santa's big bag!
- Toy Maker: In this second game, you get to be a toy artist! Your task is to paint different toys.
- Cookie Cooking: The third game is all about baking yummy treats. You'll be making cookies for Mrs. Claus.
- Saving Christmas: This is the fourth and final mini-game. Here, you help deliver toys! You drop them onto houses to make sure everyone gets their gifts.
