Sölvesborg Municipality (which in Swedish is Sölvesborgs kommun) is a local government area in Blekinge County, located in southern Sweden. It shares borders with Bromölla Municipality, Olofström Municipality, and Karlshamn Municipality. The main town and administrative center of this municipality is Sölvesborg.
The current Sölvesborg Municipality was created in 1971. This happened when the old City of Sölvesborg joined together with two rural areas called Gammalstorp and Mjällby.

A small part of the area called Valje is also located in Sölvesborg Municipality. However, most of Valje is actually in Bromölla Municipality.
