SV Neulengbach is an Austrian football club from Neulengbach. The club started in 1923. In 1996, they added a women's football team.
While the men's team usually played in lower leagues, the women's team became very successful. In their first season, 1996–97, they played in the second division and won it. This win helped them move up to the ÖFB-Frauenliga, which is the top women's football league in Austria.
In their first year in the top league, they finished 5th. They also reached the final of the ÖFB Ladies Cup. In the next few seasons, they kept getting better, finishing 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, and then 2nd again.

A Winning Streak
In the 2002–03 season, SV Neulengbach won their first championship title. They did this without losing a single game! They scored an amazing 120 goals and only let in 5. After this, they became a very strong team. They won every championship and cup competition until 2012. In 2004, they had a record-breaking 12–0 win against FC Südburgenland in the cup final.
European Football Adventures

SV Neulengbach also played in big European competitions. These are tournaments where top clubs from different countries compete.
UEFA Women's Champions League
In the 2009–10 UEFA Women's Champions League, they reached the Round of 16. This is a great achievement, but they lost to Torres Calcio from Italy.
Their best performance in Europe came in the 2013–14 season. For the first time, the club reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League. They played against Tyresö FF from Sweden but lost with a total score of 8–1 over two games.

A lot of SV Neulengbach's success was thanks to two amazing goal-scorers: Nina Burger and Maria Gstöttner. The club also brought in talented players from the Brazil women's national football team, like Rosana, Monica Hickmann Alves, and Darlene de Souza.
