Saas im Prättigau was a small Swiss village. It used to be its own municipality (like a town with its own government). Saas was located in the Prättigau valley, in the canton of Graubünden.
On January 1, 2016, Saas im Prättigau joined with another municipality. It became part of Klosters-Serneus.

The village of Saas is very old. People first wrote about it around the year 1290. Back then, it was called Säusch.
Geography and Location
Saas im Prättigau covers an area of about 26.8 square kilometers (about 10.3 square miles). A large part of this land, 44%, is used for farming. Forests cover about 26.2% of the area.

The village of Saas is built along a line on a flat area. This area is above the main Prättigau valley. It sits between the villages of Küblis and Klosters.
