St Peter's is a lovely area in Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands. Its official name is Saint Pierre du Bois, which means "St. Peter in the Wood" in English. It is a "parish," which is like a local district or area. St Peter's is an important center for the western parishes of Guernsey. These include Torteval, St Saviour's, and the Forest parishes.

People from Saint Peter's used to have a fun nickname in the old local language called Guernesiais. They were called etcherbaots, which means "beetles." The postal code for this area starts with GY7.

St Peter's is known for its beautiful flowers and plants. It won the "Britain in Bloom" award for small coastal areas in 2015. It also earned a gold medal in the 2016 Champion of Champions competition.

Where is St Peter's?

This parish is located on the western side of Guernsey. It shares its borders with other parishes. These are Torteval, St. Saviour's, Forest, and St. Andrew's.

Most of St Peter's is beautiful countryside. There is also a small village in the middle of the parish. The main parish church here is quite special. It was built at the bottom of a small valley. Inside, the floor of the church is not flat. It slopes downwards, which makes it look very unique!
