Sana Makbul Khan (born June 13, 1993), known as Sana Makbul, is an Indian model and actress. She works mainly in Hindi television shows. She also acts in Telugu and Tamil films.

Sana is well-known for playing Lavanya Kashyap in the TV show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?. She also played Dr. Aliya Kothari in the drama Vish. In 2014, Sana started her film career with the Telugu movie Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya. She took part in the stunt show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 in 2021. In 2024, she won Bigg Boss OTT Season 3.

Early Life and Education

Sana Khan was born on June 13, 1993, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She went to Mumbai Public School for her early education. Later, she studied at R. D. National College in Mumbai. During her college years, Sana became very interested in modeling and acting. Her mother is from Kerala, and her father is from Mumbai.

Sana Makbul started her career as a model. This led her to appear in many advertisements and TV shows. Her first big TV appearance was in 2009. She was on the reality show MTV Scooty Teen Diva.

Starting in Films

Sana's film career began in 2014. She starred in the Telugu movie Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya. For this film, she started using the name Sana Makbul. She played Samhitha, an aerobics trainer. Her character was in a love story with a father and his son. After this, she acted in the Tamil thriller Rangoon. This helped her become known in South Indian movies. In 2019, she worked in the show Vish on Colors TV.

In June 2024, Sana became a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 3. This is an Indian reality TV show. She stayed in the house for six weeks. Sana Makbul then became the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 3.
