Sandra Leveson (born 1944), also known as Sandra Leveson-Meares, is a talented Australian artist. She is known for her amazing abstract paintings and printmaking. She has also worked as a teacher.

Becoming an Artist
Sandra Leveson started her art journey at a young age. From 1959 to 1963, when she was just 14, she studied design at the Caulfield Institute of Technology. She also continued her studies at the National Gallery School during these years.
In 1966, Sandra married Ken Leveson, who was a sculptor. They both taught at Brighton Technical College. Later, they turned a warehouse in South Yarra into a studio and home. Sandra also traveled to the UK and USA in 1974 and 1976 to study art further.

Sandra Leveson gained recognition for her art very early on. She started having her own art shows, called solo exhibitions, when she was only 18 years old.

Sandra had many solo exhibitions throughout her career. Her first shows were in Melbourne at galleries like Pinacotheca and Realities. She also showed her work in Sydney at Macquarie Galleries.
