Sandra Myers was born on January 9, 1961, in Little River, Kansas, United States. She is a retired athlete who was a fantastic sprinter, especially in the 400 metres race. Sandra first competed for the United States, but later became a citizen of Spain and represented them in many international competitions.
In 1981, Sandra Myers became the US champion in the 400 metres hurdles. Later, in 1987, she received Spanish nationality. This allowed her to compete for Spain on the world stage. She achieved great success, including winning a silver medal at the World Indoor Championships and a bronze medal at the World Championships in 1991.
Sandra Myers studied at California State University, Northridge before becoming a professional athlete.
