Where is Saunemin?
Saunemin is found in the eastern part of Livingston County, Illinois. A main road, Illinois Route 116, runs through the southern side of the village. This road can take you about 12 miles (19 km) west to Pontiac. Pontiac is the main town for the county.
If you go east on Route 116 for about 26 miles (42 km), you will reach Ashkum. The village also stretches west along Route 116 to where it meets Illinois Route 47. Route 47 goes north about 15 miles (24 km) to Dwight. It also goes south about 10 miles (16 km) to Forrest.
