Scarlett Noel Pomers, born on November 28, 1988, is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her roles as Naomi Wildman in the TV show Star Trek: Voyager. She also played Kyra Hart in the popular TV series Reba. Scarlett also released her first music album, called Insane, on January 7, 2010.

Scarlett Pomers loved hard rock music from a young age. She started taking singing and guitar lessons when she was a child.
Acting Career
First Roles
Scarlett Pomers began acting when she was just three years old. Her first appearance was in Michael Jackson's music video, "Heal the World" in 1992. After that, she appeared in many commercials. She has been in over three dozen commercials so far.
She also starred in several TV shows. These include Judging Amy, That's Life, and Touched by an Angel.
Movies and TV Films
Pomers was five years old when she first appeared in a movie. This was The Baby-Sitters Club. She also acted in other films like Slappy and the Stinkers and Happy, Texas. She was also in Erin Brockovich.
Scarlett appeared in the TV movie Geppetto. She was also in the Disney Channel film, A Ring of Endless Light.
Major TV Roles
Scarlett Pomers got her first big role in 1998. She played Naomi Wildman on the sci-fi show Star Trek: Voyager. She was in 17 episodes over three years. For this role, she won a Young Artist Award. This award was for Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Drama Series.
After Star Trek, she joined the cast of Reba. She played Kyra Hart, the middle child of the main character. Pomers stayed on Reba until the show finished in 2007.
Pomers also worked as a judge on PAX TV's show America's Most Talented Kids. This was during 2004 and 2005.
In 2014, Pomers shared that she was mostly done with acting. She said she would only do some voiceover work. At that time, she was focusing on photography and designing jewelry.
Music Career
Forming a Band
Scarlett Pomers shared how her band came together. She had been singing since she was about six years old. She planned to finish an album earlier, but she had a knee injury. During her recovery, she couldn't work with her music producers.
Her mom suggested she could start a band and rehearse while sitting down. This turned out to be a lot of fun for her. She said it became the most amazing experience. Her band members loved classic rock and were very talented.
SCARLETT Band and Albums
As a singer, Pomers started a band called SCARLETT. It was also known as the "Scarlett Pomers Band." They performed at famous places like the Knitting Factory and the House of Blues. They also played at The Roxy and the Whisky a Go Go.
Her first music album, an EP titled Insane, was released on January 7, 2010. It was available on her official website, CDbaby.com, and iTunes. The album featured five songs.
Pomers also sang a cover of an AC/DC song. It was "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)". This song was part of a tribute album to AC/DC. The album was called Rock & Roll Train: A Millennium Tribute To AC/DC. It came out on iTunes on December 10, 2010.
In 2014, Pomers said she was still involved in music. However, she mostly did it for herself, not as a job. She mentioned there wasn't much money in music anymore. At that time, she was working on industrial metal music. She was also writing songs for the mandolin, which she had learned to play.
Personal Life
In late 2005, Pomers sought help for an eating disorder. She later became an ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association. She also started an organization called Arch-Angels. This group helps raise money for people with eating disorders who cannot afford treatment. Because of her efforts, Teen People magazine named her one of the 20 teens who would change the world.
Pomers returned to the set of Reba and appeared in season six. The show ended in 2007. Pomers is a vegetarian. In June 2006, she started practicing Kundalini yoga. She even earned a certificate to teach it. She said yoga helped her feel good about herself and let go of her struggles.
