Schinnen is a village in the Limburg province of the Netherlands. It used to be a separate municipality. In 2019, Schinnen joined with two other places, Nuth and Onderbanken. Together, they formed a new municipality called Beekdaelen.
Schinnen was once home to a US Army base. This base supported American personnel working at a nearby military headquarters. Schinnen is also famous for the Alfa Brewery. This brewery is special because it uses water from an officially certified underground spring. It is the only one in the Netherlands to do so!
