Schinznach-Dorf was once a small town, or municipality, in Switzerland. It was located in the Aargau area, near a place called Brugg. On January 1, 2014, Schinznach-Dorf joined with another town, Oberflachs, to form a new, bigger town called Schinznach.

Before it merged, Schinznach-Dorf covered about 8.8 square kilometers (3.4 square miles). A large part of this land, about 37.1%, was used for farming. This means people grew crops or raised animals there.

Almost half of the area, 46%, was covered by forests. Buildings and roads took up about 13.4% of the land. A small part, 3.3%, was rivers or lakes. Most of the water in the town came from rivers and streams.
