Myrna Crenshaw Brown (born July 6, 1959 – died April 1, 2007), known as Screechy Peach, was an American singer and songwriter. She was famous for her powerful voice and her work with many popular music artists.

Screechy Peach first became known as the lead singer of a band called Whild Peach. She formed this band with her husband, David Whild, who was a guitarist. In the 1990s, she gained more fame by working with big names in music like Outkast and Macy Gray.

Health and Legacy

In 1996, Screechy Peach was diagnosed with a serious illness. She passed away on April 1, 2007, when she was 47 years old, in Decatur, Georgia.

Her work and talent were remembered in a special way. An episode of the cartoon show Class of 3000 called "Too Cool For School" was dedicated to her. This showed how much she was admired in the music world.
