What is SeeFood About?
Meet the Ocean Friends
The story of SeeFood follows two main characters: Julius, a brave shark, and his friend Pup, a young shark. They live in the ocean and love to play. One day, two human divers come and take some shark eggs from the reef. Pup tries to stop them, but it's too late. Julius takes Pup to a sunken ship for dinner, but Pup is too sad to eat.
Pup then meets his friend Octo, an clever octopus. Octo shows Pup his new invention: an amazing underwater car! They decide to take it for a test drive.
Trouble in the Ocean
Meanwhile, a factory is causing big problems by polluting the ocean. This pollution makes a mean moray eel named Murray very angry. Murray gathers his army of deep sea crabs and plans to take over the ocean bed.
A stingray named Spin finds a discarded restaurant menu. He takes it to Julius's three pilot fish helpers. The menu shows yummy chicken meals, but chickens only live on land!
Julius's Land Adventure
Spin and Myrtle, a wise sea turtle, lead Julius to a beach. Julius tries to catch a hen named Heather but almost gets stuck on the sand. Luckily, he makes it back into the sea.
On his next hunt for fish, Julius gets caught by a large fish hook. He is pulled onto a boat! Some men almost hurt him, but a big wave hits the boat, and Julius escapes back into the water.
Pup's Rescue Mission
Pup sees the stolen shark eggs on a wharf. They are being moved into a fish shed. Myrtle and Octo think it's too dangerous to get them back. Pup overhears them talking about how he can breathe on land. He decides to go back to the wharf by himself.
Myrtle and Julius find out from Spin that Pup is in danger. They convince Octo to help rescue Pup. Pup has found the shark eggs in the shed, but he has to hide from the fishmonger.
Teamwork on Land
Octo builds a special robotic suit. This suit lets Julius and his pilot fish move around on land. Octo uses a rocket to launch the suit onto the shore. He secretly hopes the suit will fall apart, getting rid of Julius.
The suit crashes into a chicken farm. The chickens quickly catch Julius and his pilot fish. They are all taken to the fish shed, where the fishmonger keeps them captive.
The shark eggs start to hatch! Pup manages to get them out of the shed before the divers can take them away. Myrtle helps Pup get the baby sharks to safety. When Pup hears that Julius is in trouble, he sets off to rescue him. A friendly coconut crab and the chickens, who have changed their minds, help Pup.
Saving the Ocean
While Pup is rescuing Julius, Myrtle and Octo get the shark eggs and two newly hatched sharks to safety. The deep sea creatures march on, ready to invade. Octo and Myrtle fight them off, with help from Spin.
They realize the factory pollution is causing all the problems. Octo finds some old sea mines from a submarine. His friends help him carry the mines to block the factory pipes that are dumping pollution into the ocean.
The Final Chase
Pup, the chickens, and the coconut crab free Julius and his pilot fish. After a quick fight with the fishmonger and his two divers, the shed catches fire. The three humans chase the escaping animals using a dune buggy and motorcycles. During the chase, the chickens manage to get the two divers out of the way.
At the beach, the fishmonger briefly catches Pup. But Julius rescues him! The fishmonger drives his buggy off the edge of a pier, crashing right into the sea mines. This causes the factory to blow up! The police then arrest the fishmonger and his divers for all the damage they caused.
Julius gets out of the suit and returns to the reef. He drives away the invading deep sea creatures. With everything safe, Pup and his friends raise the newly hatched sharks. The chickens play around with Octo's suit until it breaks and sinks into the ocean.
