Club Football Journey
Starting at Lens
Serge Aurier started his football journey in different youth teams. He joined Lens when he was 13 years old. This was a big step for him, as he had to leave his friends and family. At Lens, he played for the club's reserve team and even became their captain. In June 2009, Serge signed his first professional contract with Lens.
He made his first professional game for Lens on December 22, 2009. Lens won that game 1–0 against Saint-Étienne. Serge played five games in his first season. In his second season, he played 26 games for the main team. However, Lens was moved down to a lower league, Ligue 2, after finishing 19th in the league. Before this, Serge had signed a contract to stay with Lens until 2015.
Even though Lens was in a lower league, other clubs were interested in Serge. He decided to stay in France and continued to play for Lens for the first half of the 2011–12 season.
Moving to Toulouse
On January 26, 2012, Serge Aurier joined Toulouse. He signed a contract for four and a half years. He played his first game for Toulouse just two days later, helping them win 2–1 against Caen. He scored his first goal for Toulouse on April 1, 2012, in a game against Lille. In his first half-season with Toulouse, he played ten games.
In his first full season (2012–13) with Toulouse, Serge showed his skills. He helped his team score a goal in a match against Montpellier. He scored his first goal of that season on January 11, 2013. Overall, he played 28 games and scored one goal that season.
Before the 2013–14 season, Serge signed a new contract with Toulouse until 2018. He played a more attacking role sometimes, helping with goals. He scored his first goal of that season on November 2, 2013. He continued to score more goals throughout the season, including two in two different games. He ended the season with 34 appearances and six goals. Because of his great performance, he was considered one of the best players in the league.
After playing well in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Serge was linked with other clubs. He even mentioned that playing for Arsenal in England would be a dream.
Time at Paris Saint-Germain

On July 23, 2014, Serge Aurier joined Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a loan. This meant he would play for them for a season, with an option for PSG to buy him later. He made his first appearance for PSG on August 16, 2014. He scored his first goal for PSG in a cup game against Ajaccio.
During his first half-season, Serge faced some challenges, including injuries. He also had international duties with his national team. On April 29, 2015, PSG made his move permanent, and he signed a four-year contract. His first game after signing permanently was a cup final where he scored and helped PSG win 2–0. He scored his first league goal for PSG on September 26, 2015. Four days later, he scored in a Champions League game.
In February 2016, Serge faced a period of suspension from his club. After this, he trained with the reserve team before returning to the main squad.

In his second season in London, Serge competed for his spot with other players. On January 4, 2019, he scored two goals in an FA Cup game, helping his team win 7–0. He had some injuries this season, which limited his playing time.
Despite rumors of leaving, Serge started the 2019–20 season well. He played a great game against Crystal Palace on September 14, helping his team win 4–0 and setting up a goal. Two weeks later, he was sent off in a home game against Southampton.
