The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (also known as AFCON 2019 or CAN 2019) was the 32nd time this big football tournament for African countries happened. It was first planned to be held in Cameroon. However, on January 9, 2019, the CAF (Confederation of African Football) decided to change the host country. Egypt then became the new host. The tournament took place from June 7 to June 30, 2019.

Some teams had to go through special games to qualify for the tournament. Sadly, the Chad was not allowed to play because they pulled out of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
