Seth Marton, known by his stage name Seth Sentry, is an Australian hip hop artist. He has released one EP (Extended Play) and three studio albums. In 2015, he won an ARIA Award for Best Urban Album for his second album, Strange New Past. Seth Sentry was the first Australian rapper to perform on a US talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He has also performed many shows across Australia.

Seth Sentry's Early Life and Music
Seth Sentry grew up in Sorrento, a town near Melbourne, Australia. He first started performing live in 2003 with a hip hop and drum and bass group called D.S.O.L. In 2005, he placed third in a music competition called Revolver Battles. He also helped organize a weekly hip hop night in Fitzroy. This led to him appearing on The Forthwrite Mixtape in 2007. He also made a guest appearance on fellow Australian rapper Pez's album in 2008.
Seth Sentry started sharing his songs on Triple J Unearthed, a website for new Australian music. He quickly became a "Featured Artist." His song "The Waitress Song" became very popular. It was the most downloaded track on the website. It also reached No. 31 in Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2009, which is a big music countdown. His second song, "Simple Game," was also played a lot on Triple J radio. After this, he went on a big tour across Australia, supporting Pez.
In November 2008, Seth Sentry released his first EP, The Waiter Minute. It had five songs, including his popular singles. He mentioned that he wrote most of the songs while traveling to and from work on trains.
Albums and Tours
In 2010, Seth Sentry continued to tour and finished recording his first full album. He also featured on songs by other Australian hip hop artists, Horrorshow and 360.
Seth Sentry's first album, This Was Tomorrow, came out on September 14, 2012. It was released on his own label, High Score Records. The album was chosen as the "feature album" by Triple J radio the week it came out. It reached No. 6 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Two songs from the album, "Dear Science" and "Float Away," were in Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2012.
In April 2013, Seth Sentry made history by performing on the American TV show Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He sang "Dear Science" and "Float Away." He was the first Australian rapper to ever perform on a US talk show. After this, he went on two more tours in Australia, the 'Dear Science' tour and the 'Vacation' tour.
On June 5, 2015, Seth Sentry released his second album, Strange New Past. This album was very successful, reaching No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart. It was also a Triple J feature album. Later that year, it won the ARIA Award for Best Urban Album at the ARIA Music Awards of 2015. In 2015, Seth Sentry also set a record for the largest Australian regional tour, performing 50 shows across the country.
In May 2021, Seth Sentry announced his third album, Super Cool Tree House. This album included songs he had released on YouTube during the COVID-19 pandemic. The album was released on June 18, 2021.

Seth Marton grew up in Sorrento, a small town on the coast of Victoria. He loves playing video games. He often talks about video games in his songs. He also posts videos on YouTube where he answers fan questions while playing games. In 2020, he even created his own rap battle video game called "Keyboard Warriors."
