Shareece Lyndon Wright (born April 8, 1987) is a former professional football player. He played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). Wright played college football for the USC Trojans. The San Diego Chargers chose him in the third round of the 2011 NFL draft. He also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Oakland Raiders, and Houston Texans.

Early Life and High School Football
Shareece Wright grew up in Colton, California. He played football at Colton High School. He was a star player there. In 2005, he made 68 tackles and 2 sacks. He also ran for 1,094 yards and scored 16 touchdowns. He caught 13 passes for 336 yards and 4 touchdowns. This was impressive even though he missed the first two games due to a broken hand. Wright also ran track in high school. His best time in the 100-meter dash was 10.9 seconds.
College Football Career at USC
Wright started his college career at the University of Southern California in 2006.
Freshman and Sophomore Years (2006-2007)
As a freshman in 2006, he was a backup cornerback. He was also a key player on special teams. He played in all 13 games. He had 15 tackles and recovered 2 fumbles. In 2007, his sophomore year, he played in 11 games. He made 29 tackles and defended 4 passes. He often played as USC's nickel back.
Junior and Senior Years (2008-2010)
In 2008, Wright started the first two games of his junior season. However, he got a neck injury in practice. This injury kept him out for the rest of that season. In 2009, he faced another challenge. He was not able to play during the regular season due to academic reasons. He became eligible again for the bowl game against Boston College. In that game, he made 2 tackles and an interception. 2012 Season with Chargers
After playing only seven games as a rookie, Wright looked ready for a big 2012 season. He had a strong preseason. In one game, he had a 73-yard interception return. He also had a sack and forced a fumble. But in the first game of the 2012 season, he hurt his foot. This injury kept him out for six games. After he healed, he played in the last nine games. He finished the year with 14 tackles on defense. He also had seven tackles on special teams.
2013 Season with Chargers
Wright became a starter in 2013. He had a tough start to the season. But he improved as the Chargers pushed for the playoffs. In Week 14, he intercepted New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. He returned it 41 yards for his first career interception. He played well against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. He held star receiver Demaryius Thomas to only 4 receptions for 45 yards. San Francisco 49ers (2015)
In March 2015, Wright signed a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers. He did not play in the first three games. He then asked for a trade or to be released. The 49ers released him in October.
Baltimore Ravens (2015-2016)
A few days after leaving the 49ers, the Baltimore Ravens signed Wright. This happened in October 2015. In March 2016, the Ravens signed him to a three-year contract. He was released by the Ravens in March 2017.
Buffalo Bills (2017)
On May 1, 2017, Wright signed a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills. He played in 12 games and started five of them. He recorded 44 tackles, defended five passes, and had one interception.

Personal Life and Community Work
Shareece Wright is from Colton, California. The San Diego Chargers were his hometown team. He hoped they would draft him, and they did in 2011.
Wright works closely with the Junior Diabetes Foundation. The daughter of his former football coach from Colton High School has diabetes. This inspired Wright to help. In September 2011, he threw out the first pitch at a San Diego Padres game. This event helped introduce his partnership with the foundation.
