Sharon Ooja Nwoke (born April 6, 1991) is a talented Nigerian actress. She became very well-known after playing the role of "Shalewa" in the popular web series Skinny Girl in Transit.

Early Life and Education
Sharon Ooja comes from the Idoma tribe in Benue state, Nigeria. She was born in Kaduna State. Sharon grew up with three sisters.
For her primary school, she went to Kings and Queens School in Jos. Later, she attended two all-girls boarding schools for her secondary education: Regina Pacis Secondary School in Garki II, Abuja, and St. Louis Girls’ College in Jos.
Her Acting Journey
Sharon Ooja began her acting career in 2013 when she moved to Lagos. She shared in an interview how she got her start. It all began during a photo shoot for a store. A TV company called NdaniTV was filming behind the scenes.
The next week, Sharon was invited for an interview for a TV show. Although that show didn't happen, she was soon asked to play a small part in the TV series Gidi Up. She then got a bigger role as Shalewa in Skinny Girl in Transit, which made her famous.
Sharon studied mass communication at Houdegbe North American University Benin. In 2017, she hosted the red carpet at GT Bank's Fashion Week with Timini Egbuson. She was recognized as a top female celebrity in 2020. She was also chosen by Netflix to represent Nigeria in a special program in South Africa called "The Bridgeton Affair."
Personal Life
Sharon Ooja married Ugo Nwoke in 2024. They had a private civil wedding ceremony in March 2024. Sharon shared the happy news with her fans. She calls her husband "Odogwu silencer."
Later, in June 2024, Sharon and Ugo had a bigger celebration. Their traditional wedding ceremony took place on June 27, 2024. The white wedding followed on June 29, 2024. Family, friends, and fellow actors joined them for the joyful events.
