Sharon Ooja Nwoke (born April 6, 1991), known as Sharon Ooja, is a talented actress from Nigeria. She became famous after playing the character "Shalewa" in the web series Skinny Girl in Transit.

Early Life and Education
Sharon Ooja comes from the Idoma tribe in Benue State, Nigeria. She was born in Kaduna State. Sharon has three sisters.
She went to Kings and Queens School in Jos for her primary education. For secondary school, she attended two all-girls boarding schools: Regina Pacis Secondary School in Garki II, Abuja, and St. Louis Girls’ College in Jos.
Sharon Ooja's Acting Career
Sharon Ooja started her acting journey when she moved to Lagos in 2013. She shared in an interview how she got into acting. It began when she was at a photo shoot for a store. NdaniTV was filming behind the scenes.
The next week, she was invited for an interview for a TV show. Soon after, she got a small role in the TV series Gidi Up. Ooja also starred in Skinny Girl in Transit, where she played Shalewa. This role helped her become very well-known.
Sharon Ooja studied mass communication at Houdegbe North American University Benin. In 2017, she hosted the red carpet at GT Bank's Fashion Week with Timini Egbuson.
She was named a top female celebrity in 2020. Many people also looked forward to her performances in Nollywood in 2024. Netflix chose Ooja to represent Nigeria in a program called "The Bridgeton Affair" in South Africa.
Personal Life and Marriage
Sharon Ooja and Ugo Nwoke dated for a short time before they got married. In March 2024, the actress announced that she had a private civil wedding. She calls her husband "Odogwu silencer."
Sharon Ooja married Ugo Nwoke in June 2024. Family, friends, and colleagues were there to celebrate. The traditional wedding ceremony was on June 27, 2024. The white wedding took place on June 29, 2024.
