Shellsburg in the Media
In June 2006, Shellsburg was a filming location for the movie The Final Season. This movie tells the true story of a small town's successful high school baseball team. The story takes place before their school district combined with a nearby one. Parts of downtown Shellsburg were used in the movie. They were made to look like the nearby town of Norway, where the movie's story is based.
