Sheree Julienne Wilson (born December 12, 1958) is an American actress, producer, businesswoman, and model. She is famous for playing April Stevens Ewing in the TV show Dallas (1986–1991). She also starred as Alex Cahill-Walker in the TV series Walker, Texas Ranger (1993–2001).

Early Life of Sheree Wilson
Wilson was born in Rochester, Minnesota. Her parents both worked for IBM. When she was nine, her family moved to Colorado. She graduated from Fairview High School. In 1981, she earned a degree in fashion merchandising and business from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Sheree Wilson's Career Journey
Starting as a Model
While working in Denver on a fashion shoot, a photographer thought Wilson was a model. He introduced her to a modeling agent in New York. She was signed right away. Wilson then moved to Manhattan. In just 18 months, she appeared in over 30 commercials. These included ads for Clairol, Sea Breeze, Keri-Lotion, and Maybelline. Her photos were also in popular magazines like Mademoiselle, Glamour, and Redbook.
First Acting Roles
After three years of modeling, Wilson moved to Los Angeles to become an actress. Her first movie was the comedy Crimewave (1985), directed by Sam Raimi. She also appeared in Velvet (1984), an ABC TV movie. She had a guest role in the spy series Cover Up (1984).
Wilson played a main role with Tim Robbins in the movie Fraternity Vacation (1985). She was also in the CBS TV miniseries Kane & Abel (1985). This led to her role in Our Family Honor (1985-1986). This ABC drama was about Irish police officers fighting the Mafia. She starred with Ray Liotta and Eli Wallach. Her career continued to grow with a role in the TV movie News at Eleven (1986).
Becoming Famous on TV
Wilson got the role of April Stevens Ewing on the CBS show Dallas (1986–1991). Her character left the show during the final season. Wilson left the series because she was having a baby. Her acting earned her a Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Death Scene in 1991. She also received four other nominations.
In 2006, she attended the TV Land Award ceremony for Dallas. In November 2008, she went to the Dallas 30th anniversary party. This event was held at Southfork Ranch in Parker, Texas. Many cast members were there, including Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy.
Starring in Walker, Texas Ranger
In 1993, Wilson had guest roles in shows like Matlock and Renegade. Then, she played the main female role in the movie Hellbound with Chuck Norris. This led to her most famous role as Alexandra "Alex" Cahill-Walker. She starred alongside Chuck Norris in Walker, Texas Ranger (1993-2001).
In 2005, she played her character again in the TV movie Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. Her character was shot in the courthouse at the end of the movie. This made many viewers think there would be another movie. However, CBS decided not to make "Sunday Night Movie of the Week" projects anymore. She also co-starred in the Showtime movie Past Tense (1994).
Recent Projects
In 2006, Wilson appeared in Fragile, a short film. She played the main role in TV movies like Mystery Woman: Game Time (2005) and Anna's Storm (2007). She also produced and starred in independent films. These include Killing Down (2006), The Gundown (2011), Easy Rider: The Ride Back (2012), and Dug Up (2013).
She co-starred in the TV series Pink (2007-2008). She also had a guest role in DeVanity (2014). Wilson played important roles in TV movies such as Christmas Belle (2013), A Mermaid for Christmas (2019), and The Silent Natural (2019).
From 2016 to 2022, Wilson performed as Miss Daisy Werthan in Driving Miss Daisy. She acted opposite Clarence Gilyard, her former co-star from Walker, Texas Ranger.
Sheree Wilson's Personal Life
Wilson married Vince Morella in 2018. She lives in Dallas, Texas. She has two sons from her first marriage (1991-2004) to Paul DeRobbio.
Wilson is very active in charity work. She supports the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She also takes part in the Trail of Tears Remembrance Motorcycle Ride. She helps Wings for Life, which works to heal spinal cord injuries. Wilson also supports White Bridle Humane Society. This group rescues horses and offers therapy for children with developmental disabilities in Texas. Wilson also created her own line of beauty skin care products.
