The Sierra de Segura is a beautiful mountain range. It is found in the Jaén Province of Spain. This area is known for its tall peaks and stunning nature. The range gets its name from an old town called Segura de la Sierra. It also gives its name to the Segura River.
This mountain range is part of the Prebaetic System. Its highest point is the Las Banderillas peak. This peak stands tall at 1,993 meters (about 6,539 feet) high.
The Sierra de Segura is located near other famous mountain ranges. These include the Sierra Nevada, the Sierra de Cazorla, and the Sierra de Baza.
