Silver Creek (Idaho) facts for kids
Silver Creek is the name for two different streams in Idaho. Imagine two separate waterways, both called Silver Creek, but in different parts of the state! One is in southern Idaho, and the other is further northwest.

Silver Creek: Payette River Branch
The other Silver Creek is about 100 miles (160 kilometers) northwest of the Little Wood River branch. This stream flows into the Payette River.
This Silver Creek is home to brook trout. It is also regularly stocked with rainbow trout. This means that young rainbow trout are released into the stream to help keep the fish population healthy.
