Early Life and Music Start
Sirvan Khosravi was born in Tehran, the capital city of Iran. His family comes from the Kurdish people. He began learning to play the keyboard when he was 11 years old. When he was 16, he took lessons from Kaveh Yaghmaei, who became his music teacher and guide.
Sirvan's Music Career
Before releasing his own music, Sirvan worked behind the scenes. He helped other Iranian artists as an audio engineer. He also mixed and mastered their songs. This means he made sure the sound was perfect.
In 2001, he met Omid Athari Nejad. Together, they produced Sirvan's first album. It was called "To Khial Kardi Beri" and came out in 2005.
Rising to Fame
Sirvan started working on his second album, "Sa’ate 9" (which means "9 O'clock"), in 2005. It was released in 2009. He performed his very first concert in February 2009.
In 2012, Sirvan became very popular in Iran. This happened when he sang the ending song for a TV show called "Sakhteman Pezeshkan" (or "Doctors' Building").
Success with Albums and Singles
After his album Sa'ate 9 became a hit, Sirvan worked on his next album. This one was called Jaddeie Royaha (meaning "Road of Dreams"). It also became very successful.
He then released some "highly energetic" songs. These songs made him even more famous across the country. He started touring Iran, playing concerts in many big cities. People and the media paid a lot of attention to his music.
Sirvan also released high-quality music videos. His fans loved these videos. He even recorded a special song for the World Cup with his brother, Xaniar Khosravi. It was called "70 Million Stars."
In 2016, he released an "unplugged" album. This album was filmed live at Azadi Tower in 2015. It showed his live performances and some behind-the-scenes moments from his music videos. One of his songs, Tanha Nazar, reached number 5 on Spotify's Hong Kong Top 50 chart in May 2020.
