Brian LaVell "Skip" Hicks was born on October 13, 1974. He is a former American football player. He played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL).
Skip Hicks was chosen in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft. During his four seasons in the NFL, he played for the Washington Redskins and the Tennessee Titans. Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the UCLA Bruins. He still holds two important school records at UCLA. He scored 26 touchdowns in 1997, which is the most in a single season. He also has 55 career touchdowns, which is the most ever for a UCLA player (from 1993–94 and 1996–97). He finished high school at Burkburnett High School in Burkburnett, Texas in 1993.
Hicks also played for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 2004. He played in two games that season. The Argonauts went on to win the 92nd Grey Cup, which is like their championship game. However, Skip Hicks did not play in that final game.
