Andre Dontrel Burt Jr. (born October 3, 2001), known as SoFaygo, is an American rapper and singer. His song "Knock Knock" became very popular on TikTok in 2020. This song later earned a "platinum" award, meaning it sold over a million copies!
The next year, he was featured on Trippie Redd's song "MP5." This song was his first to appear on the famous Billboard music chart. SoFaygo signed with rapper Travis Scott's record label, Cactus Jack Records. He then released his first studio album, Pink Heartz, in 2022.

SoFaygo's Music Journey
Starting Out: 2018–2019
Andre Burt Jr. first started recording music when he was just nine years old. He used a friend's basement to make his early songs. As a teenager, while attending Etowah High School, he became more serious about his music.
Before he was known as SoFaygo, he used the stage name Trvllinese. He released an EP (a short album) called We Are Aliens in 2018. In 2019, he released his first mixtape, War. Soon, he started to gain many fans in his local area.
His growing popularity caught the attention of Taz Taylor, who started the record label Internet Money. Taz Taylor offered SoFaygo a contract, but SoFaygo decided not to sign with them. Around this time, he also became friends with rapper Lil Tecca. They began writing songs together.
Big Hits and First Album: 2020–2022
In February 2021, SoFaygo officially signed with Travis Scott's record label, Cactus Jack Records. This label is also home to other popular rappers like Sheck Wes and Don Toliver. In June 2021, SoFaygo performed his hit song "Knock Knock" on Open Mic, a web series by Genius.
On August 20, 2021, SoFaygo was featured on Trippie Redd's album, Trip at Knight. He sang on the song "MP5." A little later, on September 1, 2021, he released "Let's Lose Our Minds." This song was the first single from his upcoming album, Pink Heartz, and his first release with Cactus Jack. On October 8, he was also featured on his labelmate Don Toliver's album Life of a Don, on a song called "Smoke."
In July 2022, an EP called Babyjack was shared online without his official release. Then, on October 17, 2022, four songs from his first album, Pink Heartz, were released. One of these songs featured rapper Ken Carson. On the same day, SoFaygo announced that Pink Heartz would be fully released on November 11. In 2024, SoFaygo signed a new record deal with Def Jam. He is planning to release his second studio album, A Lil Kid Faygo, soon.
SoFaygo's Musical Style
SoFaygo gets his musical inspiration from many other famous rappers. Some of his main influences include Drake, Travis Scott, Chief Keef, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Playboi Carti, and Lil Uzi Vert. These artists have helped shape his unique sound.
