About South Bastion Mountain
South Bastion Mountain is connected to Develin Peak, which is its "parent" peak and is only about 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) away. It belongs to a smaller group of mountains called the Tower of London Range. This range is part of the larger Muskwa Ranges within the Canadian Rockies.
How South Bastion Mountain Got Its Name
South Bastion Mountain was named after the South Bastion, which is a part of the famous Tower of London in England. Many other mountains in this area also have names linked to the Tower of London.
