Spaniel facts for kids
A spaniel is a type of gun dog. These dogs were specially trained to help hunters find birds in thick bushes. This started way back in the 1700s in Great Britain. There are many different kinds of spaniels. Some of the most well-known ones include the Cocker Spaniel, the English Springer Spaniel, the Field Spaniel, and the Welsh Springer Spaniel. They are known for their friendly nature and beautiful long ears.
