About Spring Creek

Spring Creek is a natural waterway in southern Missouri. It is known for its clear waters. The creek helps support local wildlife and plants. It is a great example of the natural beauty found in the Ozarks.

Where Spring Creek Starts

The creek begins from a spring on a hillside. This spring is located just south of Missouri Route N in Douglas County. A spring is a place where groundwater naturally flows out of the ground.

Where Spring Creek Ends

The Journey of Spring Creek

The stream starts by flowing southeast. It enters Ozark County near a place called Wasola. After passing under Missouri Route 95, it turns to flow east. This happens northeast of Almartha.

The creek continues its journey by flowing northeast. It crosses under Route 95 again, south of Souder. It then flows east past Rockbridge. It passes under Route N again, after joining with Brixey Creek. Finally, it flows back into Douglas County to meet Bryant Creek.
