Stüsslingen is a town, also called a municipality, located in the Gösgen area of the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland. On January 1, 2021, the nearby town of Rohr became part of Stüsslingen.

History of Stüsslingen
Stüsslingen was first mentioned in old records in 1226. Back then, it was called Stuzelingen.
Rohr Joins Stüsslingen
The town of Rohr, which is now part of Stüsslingen, was first mentioned even earlier. Its name Rôre appeared in documents around 1217-1222. In 2021, these two towns officially joined together.
Geography and Nature
Stüsslingen is located in the Gösgen district. It sits among the foothills of the Rebenfluh and Gugenkette mountains. A small stream flows through the area.
A large part of Stüsslingen's land is used for farming, about 49%. Forests cover another big section, about 35.6% of the land. Buildings and roads make up about 14.7% of the area. There is also a small amount of rivers and lakes.
