Saint Bonifacius, also called St. Bonifacius, is a small city in Hennepin County, Minnesota. It is about 25 miles west of Minneapolis. People started settling here in the 1850s. The city has a mix of country and suburban areas.
St. Bonifacius is completely surrounded by the city of Minnetrista. It is also close to the border of Carver County. During the Cold War, the city had a special missile site. This site helped protect the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area from enemy planes.
In 2020, about 2,307 people lived in Saint Bonifacius. The Dakota Rail Regional Trail, a popular path for biking and hiking, goes right through the town.
