What St Kilda Looks Like

A Glimpse into St Kilda's Past
St Kilda once had its own school! The St Kilda State School opened on November 20, 1915. It was opened by Thomas Armfield, who was a member of the Queensland Parliament for the Musgrave area. This school was quite unique because it was an "open air school," meaning it might have had open sides or large windows to let in fresh air. However, the school closed just a few years later in 1922. You could find it at the south-east corner of Currajong Farms Road and Booths Road.
