The Drake Family's Contribution
The Drake family, who lived nearby at a place called Prattshayes, helped make the church bigger. In the 16th century, they paid for a new part to be added. This new section is known as the Drake's Aisle.
Restoration Work
Like many old buildings, the church needed some repairs and updates over the years. Between 1883 and 1884, a person named Robert Medley Fulford led a big project to restore the church. This helped keep it in good condition for future generations.
