Past Events at the Church
In the late 1800s, there were some disagreements involving the vicar, Revd. John Vallancy. In 1892, he had a dispute with some people from the church. He also had a disagreement about flowers on a grave. Later, in 1896, he was involved in another incident. Because of these events, the Bishop of Southwell decided to suspend him for 18 months.
