Stacey Lauretta Dash (born January 20, 1967) is an American actress. She is well-known for playing Dionne Marie Davenport in the 1995 movie Clueless and its TV show. Stacey Dash has also appeared in other films like Moving, Mo' Money, and Renaissance Man. On television, she has been in shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Single Ladies. She also appeared in music videos for artists like Kanye West.

Stacey Dash was born in the Bronx, a part of New York City. Her parents are Dennis Dash and Linda Dash. She has a stepfather, Cecil Holmes, and a younger brother, Darien Dash. Darien started DME Interactive, which was the first website company led by an African American to be publicly traded. Her first cousin is Damon Dash, who helped start Roc-A-Fella Records. Stacey Dash went to Paramus High School and finished in 1985.

Breakthrough with Clueless
In 1995, Stacey Dash got her big break in the teen comedy film Clueless. She played Dionne Davenport, who was the best friend of the main character, Cher. Even though she played a high school student, Stacey Dash was twenty-eight years old at the time.
After the movie's success, a TV show based on Clueless was made in 1996. Stacey Dash played Dionne again in the TV series, which ran until 1999.

After Clueless ended, she appeared in films like View from the Top (2003) and Gang of Roses (2003). She also had guest roles on TV shows such as Eve and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
