Stacy Title (born February 21, 1964 – died January 11, 2021) was a talented American film director, screenwriter, and producer. She was known for making movies like The Last Supper and Let the Devil Wear Black. She even received a nomination for an Academy Award for her short film Down on the Waterfront.

Her Film Career
Stacy Title's first big project was a short film called Down on the Waterfront in 1993. This film was so good that it was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film.
Directing Feature Films
Her first full-length movie was The Last Supper (1995). It was a comedy about a group of graduate students. Later, she directed the horror movie The Bye Bye Man in 2017. She also directed an episode of the TV series Freakish and other films like Hood of Horror.

Stacy Title was married to Jonathan Penner, who is a writer and actor. He was also a contestant on the TV show Survivor. They worked together on many projects. Stacy first directed Jonathan in The Last Supper. They also wrote the script for a new version of The Lone Ranger in 2003. Jonathan wrote the script for The Bye Bye Man, which Stacy directed. They were also planning a TV series based on King Kong.

In December 2017, Stacy Title was diagnosed with ALS, a serious illness. Even though she was sick, she kept working on a dark comedy film called Walking Time Bomb. Sadly, the film was never finished.
Stacy Title passed away on January 11, 2021, when she was 56 years old. Her husband, Jonathan Penner, shared the sad news on social media.
