Stanley "Smokey" Otis Reddick, born on December 6, 1969, is a former ice hockey player from Canada. He was a goaltender, which is the player who guards the net to stop the puck from going in.

Smokey Reddick's Hockey Career
Playing in the ECHL and Europe
People called Stanley Reddick "Smokey." He played ice hockey for 12 years. He played in a league called the ECHL in North America. He also played in Europe, in the Slovenian League and the Alpine League.
Setting Records with the Johnstown Chiefs
When Reddick played for the Johnstown Chiefs in the 1991-92 season, he set a team record. He won 25 games that season. This record stood for ten years! Another goalie, Frederic Deschênes, matched it in 2001-02. Later, Ryan Nie, another Chiefs goalie, broke the record with 29 wins in the 2007-08 ECHL season.
Playing After Professional Hockey
After he stopped playing professional hockey in 2002, Reddick continued to play. He joined the Ile des Chenes North Stars. This team was part of the Hanover Tache Hockey League in Manitoba, Canada. With the North Stars, Reddick helped his team win several early games in the Allan Cup tournament.
International Play for Slovenia
Stanley Reddick also played for the Slovenian national team. He represented Slovenia in the IIHF World Championship three times. These were in 1997, 2001, and 2002.
