Kirk must decide how to help Tyree's people defend themselves and restore balance.

This allows the crew to regain control of the Enterprise and help the aliens find a peaceful solution.

Kirk teaches the warring groups about peace and fairness, using a familiar document.

Captain Kirk must convince M5 that it has made a mistake and stop it before it causes more harm.

They must use their wits and teamwork to escape the arena and get beamed back to the Enterprise.

He seems to be trying to change history. Kirk and Spock follow him to Earth. They soon realize Gary is actually trying to help important events happen, not stop them, to protect Earth's future.


Home Media Releases

This season was released on DVD and Blu-ray by Paramount Home Entertainment. There are two main versions: an earlier one and a remastered one.

A DVD set was first released in 2004. Later, a remastered version came out on DVD. This newer version had updated special effects in some scenes and improved colors.

The Remastered DVD set also included special bonus features about the 'Tribbles'. These included episodes like "Trials and Tribblations" from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and "More Tribbles, More Troubles" from Star Trek: The Animated Series. The Remastered DVD set contained 8 DVD discs.
