Stedman Graham Jr. (born March 6, 1951) is an American educator, author, and businessman. He is also a well-known speaker. Many people know him as the long-term partner of Oprah Winfrey.

Early Life and Education
Stedman Graham was born on March 6, 1951. He grew up in Whitesboro, New Jersey, with his parents, Mary Jacobs Graham and Stedman Graham Sr. He is one of six children in his family. Graham is quite tall, standing about 6 feet 6 inches (198 cm).
He went to Hardin-Simmons University and earned a degree in social work in 1974. Later, in 1979, he received a master's degree in education from Ball State University. While at Hardin-Simmons, Graham also played college basketball.
Business Career
After college, Graham moved to High Point, North Carolina. There, he started working in public relations. He worked for a company called B & C Associates. In this role, he helped support causes important to the Black community. He also worked with famous people like author Maya Angelou and South African activist Winnie Mandela.
Graham also started a non-profit group in Chicago, Illinois, called AAD (formerly Athletes Against Drugs). This organization helps young people. Since 1985, AAD has given out over $1.5 million in scholarships to students.
In 1988, Graham created his own company, S. Graham & Associates. This company is based in Chicago. It focuses on marketing and consulting for businesses and schools. Graham has also taught as a professor at Full Sail University.

Stedman Graham is a popular speaker. He gives talks at many schools, both public and private. His speeches often focus on important topics like identity and self-awareness. He encourages people to understand who they are and what they want to achieve.
