Stephania Haralabidis (born May 19, 1995) is an amazing water polo player. She was born in Athens, Greece. Stephania is a Greek American athlete. She played for the University of Southern California (USC) team. Today, she plays for Ethnikos and the U.S. national team. Stephania has two sisters, her twin Ioanna and an older sister, Anastasia. Ioanna also played water polo at USC.

College Water Polo Success
Stephania played water polo at the University of Southern California from 2014 to 2017. She was a key player for the USC Trojans team.
Winning the NCAA Championship
In 2016, Stephania helped her team win the NCAA championship. This is a huge national college sports competition. She scored five goals in the final game. One of her goals was the winning shot, made with only seconds left!
Top College Player Awards
Stephania won many awards for her great playing. She received the Peter J. Cutino Award. This award goes to the best male and female college water polo players. She was also named the National Player of the Year. Plus, she was the MPSF Player of the Year. She was chosen as a First-Team All-American. This means she was one of the best players in the country.
International Water Polo Journey
Stephania has played for two different countries. She first played for Greece. Later, she joined the U.S. national team.
Playing for Greece
Stephania started her international career with Greece. She won gold medals with the junior teams.
- In 2011, she won gold at the European Junior Championship. This event was held in Madrid, Spain.
- In 2012, she won another gold at the Youth World Championships. This competition took place in Perth, Australia.
- In 2014, she earned gold at the European U19 Championship. This was in Ostia, Italy.
She also won a bronze medal with the senior Greek team. This was at the 2012 FINA World League in Changshu, China.
Playing for the United States
Since 2017, Stephania has been a part of the U.S. national team. She has won many gold medals with them.
- In 2018, she won gold at the FINA World League in Kunshan, China.
- She also won gold at the 2018 FINA World Cup in Surgut, Russia.
- In 2019, she won gold at the World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju.
- She also won gold at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.
- In 2021, she won gold at the FINA World League in Athens.
- In 2022, she won gold at the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest.
Olympic Gold Medalist
One of Stephania's biggest achievements came in 2020. She and Team USA won an Olympic Gold Medal! This happened at the Tokyo Olympics. It was a dream come true for the team.
Club Water Polo Adventures
Stephania also plays for professional water polo clubs.
Playing for Ethnikos
For the 2021-2022 season, Stephania played for the Greek club Ethnikos. This club is based in Piraeus, Athens. Her twin sister, Ioanna, also played on this team. Stephania was very important in helping Ethnikos win a big title. They won the 2021-22 Women's LEN Trophy. This was the club's second European club championship.
