Stephen Arpin (born December 16, 1983) is a Canadian race car driver and entrepreneur. He currently races part-time in special UMP Dirt Modifieds. He drives the No. 00EH Longhorn Chassis car for his own company, Longhorn Chassis. This company makes frames for Dirt Late Model and Dirt Modified race cars. Steve has also raced in big series like the ARCA Menards Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Steve Arpin: A Racing Star

Early Days and First Races

Steve Arpin was born in Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada. He started racing Go-Karts at Riverside Speedway when he was just 10 years old. He won many races as a beginner and was often at the top of the standings.

By age 14, Steve began racing Mini-Sprints at the Emo Speedway in 1997. The next year, he moved up to WISSOTA Modifieds. In 1999, he won the track championship in that class. He continued to win many races, claiming his second track championship in 2001. That year, he won every main event at the track!

Racing in NASCAR

In 2010, Steve Arpin got a big chance to drive for JR Motorsports. This team is owned by famous NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.. Steve drove the No. 7 Chevy in a few races, sometimes filling in for Danica Patrick. His first NASCAR start was at the Aaron's 312 race. He finished in the top 10 for the first time at the 2010 Subway Jalapeño 250.

In 2011, Steve made his debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He drove the No. 32 Mike's Hard Lemonade Chevrolet Silverado for Turner Motorsports at Texas Motor Speedway. In 2012, Steve raced in two more NASCAR Nationwide races. He finished 10th at Texas and 16th at Iowa Speedway. He also raced in the ARCA Racing Series again.

Global Rallycross Adventures

In 2013, Steve Arpin got an exciting opportunity to compete in the Global Rallycross Championship. He raced alongside another NASCAR driver, Scott Speed.

In 2015, Steve joined Chip Ganassi Racing to race full-time in the GRC series. He continued to compete in this series, showing off his skills in different types of racing.

Later, in 2018 and 2019, Steve Arpin and Loenbro Motorsports competed in the Americas Rallycross Championship (ARX). He finished 6th in points in 2018 and 4th in 2019.

Dirt Track and Snowmobile Racing

Steve Arpin also has a strong background in dirt track racing. In 2002, when he was 18, he won the Silver 1000 race in Proctor, Minnesota. He also won the WISSOTA 100 at Cedar Lake Speedway. These wins brought him a lot of attention. He even won a Harley-Davidson motorcycle for winning the American Heritage Classic race!

When he was a teenager, Steve also raced snowmobiles during the winter. He won many local events. Soon, Polaris Industries picked him up, making him the youngest driver ever to race for them. During his time racing snowmobiles, he won three world championships and many other races.
