Steven Dwayne Burtt Jr. (Ukrainian: Стівен Буртт), born on March 7, 1984, is a professional basketball player. He was born in America but also became a citizen of Ukraine.
In 2011, he became a Ukrainian citizen and played for the Ukrainian national team. After playing basketball for four years at Iona College, Steve tried to join the NBA in 2006, but he wasn't chosen.

High School Basketball Career
Steve Burtt Jr. played high school basketball at Rice High School. This school is located in New York City, New York.
College Basketball Career
As of April 2015, Steve Burtt Jr. is the second-highest scorer in Iona College history. He scored 2,034 points during his time there. His father, Steve Burtt Sr., is the only player who scored more points than him at Iona.
They are one of only two father-son pairs to each score over 2,000 points in NCAA Division I basketball. The other famous duo is Dell Curry and his son, Steph Curry.
In 2012, Steve Burtt Jr. was honored by being added to the Iona basketball Hall of Fame. He was recognized for his great play. He was named to the All-MAAC team three times:

Steve Burtt Jr. has played for many different basketball teams around the world.
Early Career in Europe
On March 5, 2009, Steve signed with Vive Menorca in Spain. He played there for a short time before leaving on April 28, 2009.
Later in 2009, he joined Apollon Limassol in Cyprus. In January 2010, he moved to Ukraine to play for BC Ferro-ZNTU.
Playing in Ukraine and Turkey
In August 2010, Steve signed with BC Dnipro in Ukraine. He played with them for two seasons, re-signing in July 2011.
In July 2012, he moved to Turkey and signed with Tofaş. He left Tofaş in January 2013. In March 2013, he went to Russia to play for Avtodor Saratov.
On September 26, 2013, he signed with Spartak Saint Petersburg in Russia for the 2013–14 season.
Moves Across Europe and Beyond
On July 31, 2014, Steve joined Stelmet Zielona Góra in Poland. He left them on December 5, 2014, and signed a two-year deal with Baloncesto Fuenlabrada in Spain.
On April 13, 2015, he left Fuenlabrada. He then signed with Atléticos de San Germán in Puerto Rico for the rest of the 2015 BSN season.
On August 21, 2015, he signed with Byblos Club in Lebanon. In May 2016, he played in China for the Guizhou White Tigers during the 2016 NBL season.
Return to Greece and Recent Teams
On February 10, 2017, Steve signed with the Greek team Apollon Patras. On March 31, 2018, he moved to Faros Larissas in Greece. Before this, he had played in Lebanon, Puerto Rico, and Iran.
On September 26, 2018, he joined another Greek team, the Rethymno Cretan Kings.
On October 28, 2020, Steve signed with Budivelnyk in the Ukrainian Basketball Super League.
In April 2023, Steve came out of retirement for one game with Ionikos Nikaias. He scored 29 points and had 9 assists in almost 39 minutes. Even with his great effort, his team lost 85-83.
Playing for His Country
In 2011, Steve Burtt became a Ukrainian citizen. This allowed him to play for the senior Ukrainian national team. He represented Ukraine at EuroBasket 2011, which is a big basketball tournament for European countries.
The Basketball Tournament
Steve Burtt also played in The Basketball Tournament in 2018 for a team called Gael Nation. In two games, he averaged 16.5 points, 2.5 assists, and 2 rebounds per game. His team made it to the second round before they were defeated.
