Steven Bernard Hosey (born April 2, 1969) is an American former right fielder in Major League Baseball (MLB). He played for the San Francisco Giants from 1992 to 1993. After his baseball career, Steve built a real estate business in Fresno, California. He also works as the Director of Parent Engagement and Training for Family Leadership, Inc., an organization that helps families.

Early Life and Baseball Career
Steve Hosey grew up in Inglewood, California. He went to Fremont High School in Oakland. After high school, he continued his education and played baseball at Fresno State University in California.
Joining Professional Baseball
Steve was first chosen by the Cleveland Indians in the 19th round of the 1986 MLB Draft. However, he decided not to sign with them at that time. He continued to play college baseball.
Later, in the 1989 MLB Draft, the San Francisco Giants picked him in the first round. This time, Steve chose to sign with the Giants. He then began his journey through the minor leagues, working his way up to the major leagues.
