Stevens MRT Station (DT10/TE11) is a train station in Singapore. It's part of Singapore's big train network called the MRT. This station is special because it's an interchange station. This means you can switch between two different train lines here: the Downtown Line (DTL) and the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL).
Stevens Station is one of only four stations where you find the ticket gates (faregates) on the same level as the train platforms. The other stations like this are Bishan, Expo, and Changi Airport.
Because of how the station is built underground, the two platforms for the Downtown Line are on different levels. Each platform has its own set of ticket gates. If you accidentally tap your card at the wrong gates, don't worry! The Land Transport Authority gives you a 10-minute grace period. This means you have 10 minutes to tap out and then tap in at the correct gates without being charged extra.
You can find Stevens Station at the corner of Bukit Timah Road and Stevens Road. The station gets its name from Stevens Road.
