History of Stillmore
Stillmore used to be called "Kea's Mill." The story goes that postal workers offered "still more" names for the town's post office. This happened when their first list of names wasn't good enough. That's how the town got its unique name!

Stillmore is located in the southeastern part of Emanuel County. You can find it at these coordinates: 32°26′28″N 82°12′53″W / 32.44111°N 82.21472°W.
Roads and Travel
Georgia State Route 57 goes through Stillmore. This road leads northwest about 14 miles to Swainsboro. Swainsboro is the main city in the county. If you go southeast on Route 57 for about 5 miles, you'll reach Interstate 16.
Georgia State Route 192 also crosses Route 57 in the middle of Stillmore. Route 192 goes northeast about 11 miles to Twin City. If you head west on Route 192 for about 5 miles, you'll get to U.S. Route 1.
