Stoneham Mountain Resort is a fun ski resort located north of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It's in a town called Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury. This resort is a great place for skiing and snowboarding, with lots of trails for all skill levels.

The highest point of the mountain is about 593 metres (1,946 feet) above sea level. From top to bottom, the mountain has a vertical drop of 345 metres (1,132 feet). There are 42 different trails spread out over four mountains, covering a huge area of 333 hectares (820 acres).

Stoneham is special because it has 19 trails lit up for night skiing. This is the biggest night skiing area in all of Canada! The resort is owned by a company called Resorts of the Canadian Rockies.

In 2017, some older ski lifts were replaced. A new, modern chairlift was built. This new lift is 4,700 feet long and takes about 8.5 minutes to ride. It can carry up to 1,900 people every hour, helping everyone get up the mountain quickly!

Snowboard World Cup Finals

Since 2007, Stoneham has been the home of the Snowboard FIS World Cup Finals. These exciting events happen every year in March. Top snowboarders from all over the world come to compete here.

FIS Snowboarding World Championships 2013

In January 2013, Stoneham hosted an even bigger event: the FIS Snowboarding World Championships. This is a very important competition where the best snowboarders compete for world titles.

Alpine Skiing World Cup in 1993

Back in 1993, the mountain also hosted a slalom event for the alpine skiing World Cup. A famous Italian skier named Alberto Tomba, who was one of the best alpine skiers ever, won that race!
